Risk is an inherent aspect of real estate, yet the managing of risk is quite often overlooked. Anti-trust, misrepresentation, RESPA, ADA and Fair Housing can be stumbling blocks that with the proper knowledge can be stepping stones to better business and avoids lawsuits. This course will expose ways real estate agents could end up in a lawsuit, and most importantly, how to avoid one. Student will learn risk management by avoiding unauthorized practice of law, escrow, equal services, environmental concerns and state and federal regulations such as lead paint, RESPA, ADA, anti-trust and Fair Housing. Learn to protect yourself and your business.
